As Sea water Desalination Systems is the same theory as R/O system for city water and underground water, this system use high pressure plunger pump & high Rejection Membrane because of high salt grade of sea-water. Generally,

City water & underground water has 150ppm ~ 250ppm of TDS, but Sea-water has 34,000ppm ~ 36,000ppm of TDS. Due to this reason, sea-water is purified by high Rejection Membrane, which can remove salt about 99.4%. If sea-water is passed through this membrane, it becomes drinking water by the separation of water & salt. At the same time, as virus & bacteria are removed together, the water is the same condition as purified water of city-water.


Application:
Dring water & ship water, the treatment of underground water around beach, drinking water for island, etc.




First step

It is for obtaining drinking water by combining concentration water from the 1st membrane and final treatment water from the 2nd membrane. The principle is to produce fresh-water of under 500mg/L through High recovery, which can endure 100 air-pressure & 99.5% salt remove ratio, and 1st membrane against seawater of 35,000~36,000mg/L. It is much economical than the others.

The 2nd step

It is to obtain final treatment water from the additional system with the 1st membrane water. It produces sea-water of 3000~ 4500mg/L of salt ratio, and produce fresh-water of under 500mg/L by the later process. Both process need 90~95% salt remove ratio with 70~80 air-pressure. Compare to Single stage system, Double stage system has attractive point to get much lower salty & high quality water.
